Nate who?

Nate Robinson. I'm in my second season as a guard for the New York Knicks.

I was a first-round draft pick out of the University of Washington, where I helped take the Huskies to the Sweet 16.

It’s been a long road from high school. No one wanted to give me a chance in hoops at first – don’t know if they thought I was too small or what – but they underestimated me. I even went to Washington on a football scholarship before convincing Coach Romar I could make an impact on the hardwood. Now I'm gonna be the next big thing in the NBA -- even though I'm 5-foot-9.

Super Bowling party

Posted: Thursday, February 8 at 08:39 pm ET by Nate Robinson

I went to a great Super Bowl party that Eddy Curry hosted. He took us out to a White Plains bowling alley to watch the game and do some bowling.

I had to show Eddy how to throw a strike! Actually, I’m kidding. Eddy is a really good bowler. He scores pretty high up there in the 200s. I’m more around 180 or so. OK, but hardly the best in the world. If I practiced at it I think I could be really good.

But I’m more of a ping pong guy. I like to play Stephon Marbury, but nobody else really wants to play me because I’m the best. Some of my teammates say Penny Hardaway was the best when he was here, but unfortunately I never got to play him.

Anyway, at Eddy’s party, we all bowled and watched the Super Bowl. I was rooting for the Colts, because Quentin Richardson keeps talking about the Bears and how they beat my Seahawks.

It was a family party, which was nice because I got to bring my two boys. Eddy’s family was there, too, as well as Mardy Collins and his fiancé and son, Stephon with his wife and son, and others.

It was a good time. And it didn’t hurt that the Colts won.
